The frogs see TV for the first time.
The frogs flew on through the night. They didn’t notice things like washing lines and washing. One or two lost their lilly pads when they crashed into a line. One was seen to be left hanging by his toes. One became a a frog ghost as he flew through the garden with a sheet hanging around him.
They saw things they had never seen before. They didn’t have the words for them but there were square buildings with openings in the side.
The frogs flew through the openings and down tall funnels that stuck out of the buildings.
One group found themselves in front of wide, bright box. A human was sitting propped up in a chair with her eyes closed. They hovered in front of the bright box. It was extraordinary, things moved in the light.

The Door.
I have just moved into our new horrible house with mum and dad. I went to explore my new ‘overgrown’ garden. At the end of my new garden there was a little rusty, shed, looking, old and worn out brown door.
I turned the handle, it wouldn’t open. I tried thousands and thousands of times. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a key, hanging on a big branch of a tree. So quickly, I got the key and slid the key into the hole. I turned the key. It worked!! I turned the handle. I really had to push the door to make it open! The door was open! I stepped inside!
It was amazing!! Inside was a beautiful old cottage! The garden was extemerly long! At the end of the garden was a litle pond, all around it was lots of colourful wildflowers! There was cornflowers, tulips and poppys! Plus lots more!! To be continued…………..

Midnight snack.
Wednesday night Pete woke up. He had heard a clattering noise coming from downstairs. It sounded like a person had droped a lot of metal on a tile floor! Pete went downstairs to make himself a mash pototoe sandwich with a drizzle of chilli sauce and five slices of cheese, plus a couple of salad leaves! (He loved them!!!!)
He made his sandwich and poured himself a glass of creamy milk. Sat down and ate! After about ten minutes (when he was half way through his sandwich,) he saw a green lookingthing, out of the corner of his eye! He turned his head about 90 degrees around to the right. He saw something that looked abit like a thousand bright green frogs!!!!!!
Pete jumped out of his skin! Then the first wierd green frog waved at him!! He was so frightend, that Pete dropped his unfinished sandwich, ran upstairs, jumped into bed, and tried to fall asleep. Even though he couldn’t!!

The Midnight Snack
One night, hazed and covered in wonder and amazement was all it took to change my life.
If I remember correctly I woke up to the sound of my stomach rumbling and moving around like jelly. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I got out of bed, the tiled floor was icy cold as if I had woken up inside an igloo.
I stumbled around my room still half asleep in search of my slippers. I found them nestled under my bed like two animals hibernating.
I slowly crept downstairs, careful not to wake the neighbours ever listening dog.
I made my way to the kitchen. I was blinded by the light of the fridge as i grabbed the milk, some butter, cheese, bacon, salad, mayonnaise and tomatoes.
It took a motter of minutes to make but boy was it worth it. When I took the first bite I thought my mouth would melt, all the flavours and textures.
And then! That’s when I heard the noise which may as well have chained me to my own bed and sent me to live a life of fear and questioning. I went to the window, opened the curtain just a crack and that’s when I saw it!… And it saw me!

The Midnight Snack
It was exactly midnight when I woke up. The sheets were all twisted and the bedsheet had come off the mattress. My stomach rumbled. I groaned and sat up, swinging my heavy legs out fo bed. My toe collided with the bedside cabinet causing me to yelp in pain.
I stood up and hobbled to the door. The carpet felt scratchy against the soles of my feet, the door handle was cool in my palm.
Walking down the stairs took far too long. I counted the steps as I went; there were twenty eight, including the step down from the landing.
The floor boards were loud beneath my feet and so tiptoed into the kitchen. The window above the sink was open so I slammed it closed and retied my dressing gown.
From the big white fridge I took a big loaf of soft white bread, a head of crispy lettuce, one skinny red tomato and a packet of delicious pink ham. I left the butter there because I really disliked butter and lettuce together. I quickly grabbed the milk and poured myself a glass.
When I had made the sandwich I sat at the table and bit into it.
Suddenly, I heard something knock against the window. I turned my head slightly and stopped chewing.
I didn’t know what I was seeing. Were those frogs!? Frogs? On lilly pads?
I rubbed my eyes. Was I finally going insane?

SUMMER
GARDEN
One warm summers day, a young cat was admiring rather proudly at a mouse she had caught earlier when her owner Jane came out with a dustpan and brush.
“YOU NAUGHTY CAT”Jane did love her cat Twinkle but this time she had crossed the line.
When Twinkle woke up from her nap, she found herself in an animal pound “GET ME OUT” butit came out as “MEOW MEOW MEOW!” When she stopped meowing something extraordinary happened, the cage opened all by itself she ran out the fire escape and not a moment to soon if she had been a moment later, she would have been caught by the pound-keeper. Outside, there was a beautiful summer garden. All that she could think was “WOW!” but it came out as
“MEOW!”
The summer garden was like paradise, lovely green grass, a beautiful pond (with fish) but the best part was that people and dogs weren’t allowed. When she went towards the bench, she saw her long-lost parents. When she got closer to the bench, she saw a collar with Jane’s details so they took Twinkle back to Jane. When theyarrived, Jane was extremely angry. Jane shoved Twinkle into the car and drove into the city.
To a cat, the city is the most dangerous place they could imagine and Jane had dumped Twinkle in the busiest part of the city. The day after Twinkle was dumped, a man saw Twinkle and took her to the RSPCA as for Twinkles parents, Jane had murdered them. When the vet examined Twinkle, they found out she had a broken leg and sadly it couldn’t save the leg.
One week later, Twinkle had a new home as for Jane, she was charged £90000.00 for animal cruelty.
THE END
